First a question: I found an online catalog where I could still buy one of those capsule car covers for outside. You know the kind, you drive on, zip up the two sides, turn on a pump, and it fills with air around the car? Now I can't find the catalog again. Looked here, NCRS sites and the Corvette Museum for the right catalog. Any help would
be appreciated.
A little story perhaps. I've always wanted a Corvette. A C2 actually. I started looking a month or two ago. And, they are too expensive for me now. I noticed C4's were quite reasonable. Then that some C3's could be purchased inexpensively (comparatively). C3's have the added benefit that '75 and before would be smog test free. A big deal for me since I believe smog testing is all a scam.
Anyway, I found one in North Carolina, waiting for the seller to be satisfied the check wasn't forged, then I can send the transport. 7 to 10 days after that I can check it out in person. Post pictures if you like. It has a crate 350 in it so i have to evaluate that. etc etc etc.
And, my personal thanks to Lukesvette for service in Iraq. My daughter and her husband were stationed at Balad Air Base and you guys always came out and chased the bad guys away. Bless you!
Thanks,
Jim

JIm, thanks for that. I lived in Balad for several months in 2003 right by the CASH and the air strip. That place was a bullseye for mortar rounds at night...
