Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Welcome Steve! I've spent a bit of time in Europe over the last year or so and seen lots of Corvettes over there. I haven't spent much time in the UK...yet. I might be there more in the next year
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
Welcome, Steve! You'll find that this is the best site on the net for C3 info and talk! Enjoy!

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome
Good to have you checking in with us. Tell us a little about your car. What condition is it in? How did you come to own it? what do you plan on doing next?
Welcome to the C3VR family, Steve (ericthebrave).

Many thanks for the warm welcome.
I have had my car since 2000 and have made some mods during that time. At the moment I am just about to start yet another re-furb as it is looking tired and the motor needs work so I cannot use it at this time. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel and I am enjoying planning my project.
The site looks great and I have been looking through the posts. It seems like we mostly have similar problems with our cars so I am so glad to see all the tips and suggestions on here.
We have a thriving Vette community over here in the UK although there do not seem to be so many C3's at the club meets these days. Lots of C5's and C6's and even a new ZR1 last month!
We have just got back from the Le Mans 24 hours. Unfortunately the factory team didn't go too well this year although a Vette won the amateur GT class which was great.
