Welcome to the site!!

Maybe the name is about Disney. Back in the day, Disney geve out tickets for the rides at the parks. Ticket A was for certian rides, B for others, and so on. All of the good rides were E tickets, and so the saying was that if something was really great, it was better than an E ticket.

At least that's what it meant when I was a kid growing up in FLorida. It's probably got nothing to do with that now.

You are 100% correct, E-TICKET is also my vanity tag, in the 70's the best rides at Disney required an 'E' ticket, corvettes = the best rides.
