Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.

Tell us something about your car and yourself. How did you come to own it? What is the current condition and have you done anything major to it?

In 1980 my dad came home with a new White C3 with Oyster interior, my understanding is they are rare, I have been a fan ever since. To my dismay he sold it to a corvette guy in Houston around 1996 I have wanted one ever since. I have restored a couple of cars so when I found a good deal on an 81 that needed restoring I could not pass it up. It is all there but will need paint interior things like that I am planning on going stock but may leave off the computer stuff not sure yet.
