Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.

How did you come to own it and what do you have in mind to do with it?

Thanks for the welcomes from so many
 
Always built street rods, never had much to do with Vettes, found this one and it was decent enough so bought it.
 
Learning the ins and outs last few years, now fixing the little (Ha!) things.
 
Came here to gather some help from pros, and got good info.
 
Removing dash to fix wiring problems created by hack mechanic who bypassed seatbelt interlock the wrong way, can't easily gt back to original now, but pretty close, anyway found it easier to remove 4 more bolts and remove steering wheel completely than just drop it a bit.
 
Thanks to the forum search and all posters!
 
Takes  me too long to type this stuff so I should go fix more of his shoddy work.
