[QUOTE=Golden Rule]Hi ebo,
Dinner and company were great I remember. Can you confirm for me (yes or no) that my picture shows up on my profile please. I thought I added it, but I'm new to this system and, therefore, might have to try again.
Thanks,
Golden Rule

I'll confirm that yes, I can see your picture on your profile. ebo is suggesting that you add it so it's also seen in your signature line when you post anything.

Welcome, Cindy (and Jason)! It was great meeting both of you at C3 fest! You won't regret being part of this site. It's the best site on the net for C3 info and talk! Enjoy! By the way, you get those wipers fixed yet?

Hi Barry,
Nice hearing from you. Yes; just recently had the windshield wipers fixed. First I had to find two arms. Both were broken by the time I found the right person to fix them. It turned out not to be the switch at all. The problem was inside the mechanism that tells it to go left and right. Unsure what they call that, but it took an old friend 3 hours to figure it out.
Still having the problem with it not starting. For example, I just took a cruise for about 30 minutes, started fine and ran great. Came home, turned it off and it won't start. This has been happening since I bought it 2 years ago, so it is nothing new. I bought the "blanket" to wrap around the starter because others suspect it is getting too hot. Found out it would cost ~$150 to put on, so I'm leaning towards just getting a new starter.
Thoughts?

Cindy, lets get your feet wet, post a "New Thread" under "electrical" name it something like starter problem.
Write up what it is doing, and when..(after hot, when cold, does it start to crank, just click ect.)
Then it will be in the right location for the experts to view it

Cindy, does the car have headers? You may want to get one of those high torque "mini" starters. If the starter is original it may be a good idea to replace it anyway. Just be sure whoever puts the starter on gets all the wires back in the right place! There has been a few cars on the site that have had problems after the starter wires were taken off. A lot of things junction there! Good luck!
