Have owned 2 dozen Corvettes all but a few were C3s. Worked at Chevy dealers for 30 years some as a tech the last 8 years as Asst Service Manger. Bought my first one in 1983 a 77 light blue with dark blue and drove it every day even in a foot of snow. The two we have now are a 72 Sunflower Yellow conv with saddle, a 78 Anniversary paint with mahogany both are 4sps. Have had the 72 since 99 just bought the 78 it was stored inside a dry concrete garage from 84 until a month ago. I am the third owner it has 70k miles. Was lucky enough to get a lot of original paper work. The 72 we are the second owner it was stored from 79 to 99 after a brake problem and has 53k miles on it. These are both keepers I sure I will keep buying and repairing any C3s I can.
