apologize in advance to all of you die-hard Bowtie fans!.....just a little joke to break the ice......the Challenger is my daily driver and I was trying to get the goat out of some of you GM faithful!!!......LOL.....will change the pic once I get the 'vette

I wanted a classic that looked like it had a shot of appreciating in value, I can't think of a better candidate than a 1975 L-82 4-speed,........maybe a 1974 454 4-speed? ..........good condition '68-'72 cars are already too expensive!
old man has always loved the Corvette, so it is my DNA,.....always felt like I was too young (or too broke) for a 'vette growing up, now seems just right for a C3
*Father owned a 1961 2-4bbl. fawn/fawn C1, 2004 black/black C5, 2007 black/black C6
at 39 yrs. old this is my 1st GM product!........hoping it will be a great experience!

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
My bad I thought it was just a highly modified Corvette. I was about to ask first why you did it and second you your bodyman was because he did such a good job.

Oh my...... no!..........I like all orig., factory cars...........and it had to be a 4-speed, and had to be a t-top coupe...........(really wanted chrome bumpers but the early C3's were a bit out of $ range) A31 Power windows A85 Custom shoulder harness C50 Rear window defroster C60 Air conditioning J50 Power brakes M20 4 speed manual N37 Tilt & telescopic steering column N40 Power steering U05 Dual horns U58 AM/FM stereo radio UF1 Map light

I searched far and wide to find this all orig., matching #'s '75 L-82 (2,372 for 1975 model year) 4-speed.(it is not the close-ratio BW T-10 M21 option,.....which would make this a REALLY rare car).
It is the orig. RPO M20 BW Super T-10 (wide-ratio)
Orig. Trim tag 732 74L denotes dark red/dark red from the factory as well
The car comes with stacks of ppwk, ...orig. Cali. plates w/1975 Merced Dealership surrounds, manuals, etc;..........I will spend a lot of time sorting thru it all, seeing what is orig., what is GM replacement, etc; ......verify that it is indeed #'s matching engine/tranny......extremely curious to read what exactly was done to that L-82 during the rebuild, I know they yanked the caty convert. and installed true dual exhaust, which is fine w/me!...........seller thought engine was now rated more in the mid to high 200's instead of the factory 205HP, which again, is ok w/me,.......I just hope they left the orig. L46/L82 cam in place!......we'll see

Beautiful Vette, Greg. Gotcha a real nice one.
Only thing is, the picture is way too large.
