Welcome Joey
Puerto Rico that has to be the first C3VR member on the Island. Are there any other C3 vetts on the island? Tell us something more about your car. How did you come to own it?
Welcome to the C3VR family, Joey (joeynieves).

Restored
I live in Puerto Rico in a city called Vega Baja and there are many corvettes on the island including a 53 (the guy also owns about 25 more). We have a local chapter of the NCRS and a few local clubs like the one I go to called , Bayamonvette 11 years strong.
I (as everybody else here) dreamed of having a Stingray, but something always happens. 2 years ago my wife's uncle past away and left her a Mercedes 320 that owed about $12000 and my mother in law was in charged of his estate so she decided that I shouldn't have a Mercedes and had the bank take it away, so my wife and I took the money we were going to use to pay the car and bought my dream car for $9500 and used the rest to condition it. Since it's only a two seater, my mother in law will never ride in it.
So thanks to my wooooonderful mother in law, whom I think was born in Blair county(LOL), I now own a beautiful matching number and almost original 41,000 mile Dark blue Corvette.
Last week I took out the manifold and the valve covers and a few other things and painted the engine to it's original chevy blue(by the way it looks more green than blue, maybe the guy who named it was color blind) with a brush and airbrushed all the black parts looks pretty nice.
I promise to post pictures
