Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome and glad I could maybe help with your dash issue.
I'm always interested on how people came to own their cars. Especially those outside the USA. It is so difficult to own one and to maintain it when you have an ocean between you and most parts sources.
How did you come to want a corvette so bad as to go through all of that?
According to Google Earth, it looks like there is an airport close to where you live. It seems to be gliders mostly now.
