Welcome

How far along are you on your restoration?  Look good from the outside.

Vette(s): 1976 stingray all original. Doing a slow restoration to stock specs
I'm not very far into it. I bought it running and driving. It needs interior brakes and maybe a transmission mount or u joint.

Well you have a great site to help.  I would recommend you purchase if you have not already the GM shop manual for your year.  All the others are limited as it seems the thing you want to know about your year is not in the book.

For my 1982 there is one book for that year.  I notice that other years may be different so maybe some one can provide you with some insight.

Paragon has a CD.

I would recommend you post a new topic asking for recommendations on maintenance and restoration manuals for 1976 Corvettes.  Someone that has an 1976 Corvette will surely come on line and tell you which one they recommend or at least do not recommend.

I purchased $100 worth of books before I asked that question and then spent $50 for the correct one which was the GM shop manual.
