Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome Bruce

Nice looking car.  Better put a red tag on it or you will not be able to find it in the winter.

Sorry for the California joke.  You guys are getting hammered.

Tell us a little about how you came to own your car and what are your plans?

Thanks. It should be an interesting club to be in. At least, I think, I am starting out with a nice car. Too cold to really look at it. Just got her yesterday and got a foot of snow today. But she is looking good in the garage !!

Just sold my 78 Trans Am that needed alot of floor work. Getting too old to do that anymore. I traded my 92 Vette for the Trans Am. The 92 had electrical issues and was a pain to work on. This 74K mile 1975 Stingray is more my speed. The only thing that supposedly doesn't work is the tach and the clock. I will need the stock air intake someday, but no hurry. When I can, I am going to check the block ID to see if it is a matching #'s car. The previous owner wasn't sure. He had it for 15 years. But at least she's a 4 speed. I haven't had a 4 speed since my 2001 WS6 Trans Am. Anyway. I just had her one full day and I have got alot of looking and tinkering to do. Thanks for all the warm Welcomes.

Your first purchase will be the GM manuals for your year. Note I said the GM manuals all of the others while some are helpful and really not going to answer a lot of your questions.  In the case of 75 I think you need the GM 74 manuals also.  Someone with a 75 can tell you for sure.
