Thanks for having me you all. Your posts have already helped me. Car temp ran up to 220 on the Turnpike and I thought that was a bit high. The previous owner mentioned he'd had the radiator replaced and I'll bet he didn't get all the gaskets? for the airflow put back. Will check it tomorrow. It's staying at 150 around town.
Boy, have I got a lot of reading to catch up on!!! Thanks, Debbie

I love you guys already!!! Checked for the airflow gaskets, and sure enough, they hadn't been replaced when the previous owner had the radiator replaced. Sooo...where can I get them? I'd have been scratching my head over the heating inconsistencies for a long time if I hadn't joined this group. Thanks in advance.

Very glad to have you join the site. Keep reading, and keep asking. One of us will come up with and answer. And sometimes we get a right one.
Actually as a group we do very well getting the right answers. Strength in numbers.
Welcome!
