I have already received so much help, I can't thank everyone enough.  I have never owned a Corvette, but I've always wanted one.  The car I bought is the model available the year I got my driver's license, so it has a special meaning to me.  I’ve just forgotten that cars 30+ years ago needed more care than cars rolling of the assemble line today.  But don't get me wrong, I’m enjoying every minute of this bonding time.  :-)
