Thank you! No I just bought it last summer at Carlisle, couldn't pass it up. I also have a 79 with 38,000 original miles, a Bloomington gold survivor, just love them c3s.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome Larry
Tell us a little more about yourself and your car(s).
Well, I've been a c-3 owner since 2000, when I purchased a pretty hopped up 79 at Bloomington, drove it for 5 days short of a year, and ran it into a brick house, total! Went to Bloomington that week and purchased another 79, ( with 13 stitches in my lip). This one had 14,000 original miles. We got the Bloomington Gold survivor the next year and I still have that one with 38,000 miles on it. It was featured in the May 2003 Vette magazine. Still looks the same. Was in Carlisle this last summer visiting clients and decided to go to the corvette show. I saw this red one there that first morning and had to have it. Drove it to St. Louis the next two days. Broke down on 70, 6 times. Coil, points, condenser, carb. It had been sitting for over 30 years. Got it home rebuilt the carb, new wires etc. and now it runs like a champ. looking forward to this summer, going to put 17" chrome torque thrust on it along with some chrome and shields for the side pipes. Still have the other one but will probably sell it this spring. I rent part of a Hanger in St. Louis along with a couple other forum members and we have a blast.
