Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome Harold
You are lest than a couple of hours up the road. Looks like a nice car. Tell us something about how you came to own it and what condition it is in.
Hello Gilbert,
I have only had the car for about 6 wks. It is a local California car. I am the 2nd owner(registered), and bought it from an estate sale. The car is all original, and......odometer reading is documented @ 2484 mi. The car is in perfect condition, and did get a respray, in 2009.
Currently I am getting suspension, drive train, & chassis completely redone. Clutch plate springs were old & stiff, and the linkage was hard to put in reverse. Also, the seals on the output shift rods were leaking.
The front end needed upper & lower control arm bushings.Rear suspension, trailing arms, the half shafts & yokes have been gone over.
The work is being done at Corvette Specialists, in the local area(San Dimas, CA.)
Thanks for the Welcome message. Look forward to showing the car, soon....

I know San Dimes well. At least I have been through it a lot on the way to San Francisco. Used to make that run 4 or more times a year now it is about 2 times each year.
