Vette(s): 1977 Silver Coupe; built on March 15, 1977. Every option except towing package and roof rack! Just turned 61,000 original miles!
Thank you one and all for the gracious welcoming that I have received.  I just discovered the Registry site and really don't know how I missed it!  Anyway, I'm glad to be part of this very enthusiastic group.  My 1977 was built on March 15, 1977 just a few cars ahead of the 500,000th Corvette.  Close but no cigar.  I am the second owner and the original owner didn't know this historical reference!Tongue
Best regards to all!
Ralph

Beautiful car Ralph. I don't recall seeing many '77s in silver (if any), looks great. Thanks for supporting the club by going Gold Thumbs Up and WELCOME to the forum.

Thanks fellow C-3 members.  I am really pumped about this weekend (Sep 26-7)!  I'm taking my Silver '77 to Darlington Speedway (SC) for an Old-Timers Weekend and get to do three laps on the track!  I also belong to the Coastal Carolina Corvette Club and we will be there in the "Corral" ready to go.
Best regards!
Ralph

The Silver paint and Smoke Gray interior are original from the factory.  For some reason, not many Silver '77's have survived.  In the '70's and '80's lots of "re-coloring" went on and maybe that's where a lot of Silver cars disappeared!  I'm attempting to get it certified as a "Survivor" soon.  By the way, I just ran it at Darlington Speedway this past weekend for three laps at over 85 MPHBig smile.  I know that doesn't impress the C-5 & 6 crowds but I thought it was pretty good for a 32 year old vehicle original!

Best regards,
Ralph
