Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome Robert
Nice looking car. Tell us something about it. How did you come to own it what have you done and what are in your plans?
Hi Robert! Welcome to the C3 family. I see that you have a ZZ4 engine. Nice looking Vette

Welcome, Robert! You'll find that this is the best site on the net for C3 info and talk! Enjoy!

Thank you all for the Welcome.
I hope to gain some knowledge, information and idea's from all the experience here.
I purchased my vette after it had been in storage for 8 years. It has 67,000km on it (41631 miles) recently installed a ZZ4 crate engine and Hughes TH350 Transmission, new exhaust with Hedman ceramic headers, also has a complete new interior - carpet, dash, door panels etc. Paint is original black (black interior) was re-painted just before being put into storage ?? (not sure why). Suspension was also upgraded with a poly bushing kit and rides like a dream.

Too Sweet Rob. That's the best way to buy an old vette, after someone else has put all the money into it. At least it lessens the obstacles to conquer in order to get her out on the road. Sounds like a great ride. I love those fastbacks.

Just can't wait to get on the road again.
