Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome Clay
Mid America. Nice year. Tell us something about your car. How did you come to own it? What do you need to do to it? What are some of the first things on your list?

The difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys!!
Hello all!! Just wanted to say a quick thank you for all the welcoming posts and introduce myself. I'm 32 and living in the Denver area. My father is recently severely disabled and terminally ill. We have moved in together so that I can care for him. Rather than sit around and feel bad we decided to do something we have always dreamed of and talked about, to, fix up an older vette!! We decided that this would be a great father/son project. We both love the C3 body style and particularly the 77. We found one that seemed to be in pretty good shape and bought it yesterday. We are absolutely chomping at the bit to get started. Having said that, I must point out that I have never rebuilt or restored a car in it's entirety. This will be a first for both of us! I will upload some pics of our find and hopefully we can get some feedback on it's potential. Once I get the car here we can go over it more thoroughly and formulate a plan. We will be thrilled to receive ANY input regarding this build. Sorry this ended up being longer than I had planned. Just wanted to say thanks for welcoming me aboard, and I look forward to picking your brains clean of the collected wisdom gathered here to get this baby back out on the road!!
Regards,
Rowdy
