Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome Sean
Nice year tell us something more about it. Post a picture. How did you come to own it and what are your plans?
Hi, Thanks for the Welcomes!
I updated my car in the registry.

I just got it a couple of weeks ago. It's in kind of original condition although it's been repainted so I don't know if red is the original color. As for plans I have a few problems like the Tach and Speedo don't work. I need to troubleshoot those. Also I want to get a set of original aluminum wheels. Someone reupholstered it with cloth so I will get those back to looking like original as well.
I don't intend to do anything to the powertrain, it runs like a top.
I have always loved the C3 Corvettes and the price was right. It's just going to be a weekend driver. I have it registered and insured as a collector car.
I've got a '68 and a '82 CE and everything works (for now), so I can't help you but great group of C3 experts here that are super willing to help. Don't hesitate to post your questions and if possible with pictures for best results. Welcome aboard
God Bless, rick
