Glad to be aboard.
Little history about myself.
Over 40 years of Chevrolet Corvette, and 23 years of engineering with Corvette as well.
C-3 have always been at the top of my list of favorites. I've personally owned some 35+ (lost count) and have raced them, restored them, done about everything there is to do to a C3.
Have two beauty's right now to restore, a 1969 L71 w/ M40 transmission, j56 brake package,K66
ignition, Fhantom Green ext/int. believed to be the only one of it's kind. stored 37 years .
And just bought a 1970 Ls6 punched out to 496 cubes w/ 615 hp BB former Tim Startup AP SCCA 2nd place points champ car. Ready for resto. Beautiful body w/ all the ZL1 and L88 goodies.
Just finished a 71 BB 454 for original family owed car that sat 27 year is storage. This ALL original matching numbers Corvette was equiped as follows: PS PB PW Tilt -Tele, Rear window defoger,
454 /365 BB , 4 Speed, A/C , delux leather seats, Wood Grain panels and console, double out side rear view mirrors, Factory Side exhaust and Sheilds. About every option one could buy. Beautiful medium blue paint and interior.
I'm a retired engineer of Chevrolet, and still do as many races as possible, and work PT at a Corvette Shop in Central Fl.
Thanks for welcoming me aborad looking forward to meeting other Corvette drones.

Welcome to the group John. There's more to this group than the technical exchange of C3 info, we're a descent bunch of passionate C3 people who value our friendships here as much as our cars. We'd love to have you on board my friend.
