Thanks for the warm welcome. I have built street rods since I was

17 (a long time ago!) and this is my first Corvette. I sold my last street

rod last June and decided to get into more of a later model car.  It had

sat in a garage for over 3 years when I purchased it without any

modifications or much general maintenance so I decided to go the

restored route. Since then I have the suspension all rebuilt, most of

the electricals completed and all new interior. The paint was not in bad

shape and good polishing brought it back to respectability. It has the

standard 350 with the 350 auto trans. Now I am looking forward to this summer to start really enjoying it.

Welcome Stan I'm only about 90 miles from you over here in Pittsburgh. Nice to have a new local member....Get over to Dee Jays for ribs alot? Thats one of my favorites rib joints..... I cant tell you enough how great and informative this site is.....oh and the people are great too.
