Sounds like a nice car. Tell us something about how you came to own it? Did you do the restoration or was it purchased that way?
Welcome to the C3VR family, Robert (steelcitiesgrey71Vet).

Vette(s): Steel Cities Grey 1971 convertible with hard top. The restoration was completed in 2005. This is a 350 cubic inch 270 horse automatic. Car is correct with documented history.
I am the third owner. I purchased from my wife's first cousin Jim. He purchased it from Stanley Johnson who now lives in Surprise AZ. I have a three page letter from Stan plus a picture on his purchase and background history of the car. The car has 63250 miles on it. I have put 800 miles on the restoration which was completed in November 2005. The car was intact, never wrecked and is correct. It was restored in Knoxville, IA. A class mate of mine did the restoration. Most of the restoration was done in the same town. This is where the car resided after Jim purchased it from Stanley. Stanley purchased the car in Ames, IA. All in all lot of family memories. It is a basic car, 270 automatic. Steel Cities Gray is a neat color and turns heads.
