Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.

Yes, the car is great.
But the thing is that i dont realy know mutch about it, thats why i joined the c3 registry. It would be intresting to know anything about the US History of the car.
The car lives in Sweden with me now. I bought it 3 years ago. It were exportet here from Florida 1989, thats as far back as i could get. I also know the name of the last owner in florida but i couldent find a way to contact him.
Is there some kind of registry with previous owners or any other way to get information about old cars in US?

There are a couple of companies on the web that can find anyone if you have a name. The problem is they find lots of people while only one may or is the correct person. They all cost some not a lot for a month or so. Your success depends on how much info you have on the person you are looking for. In your case you do not have a lot. I do not know what the Florida DMV will give out on past owners. But that is a place to start. May be someone can tell us more about what the Florida DMV will and will not do.
