Vette(s): many years ago when I was rich and single, a 1973 350 4 speed Corvette. A few years ago I had a 1978 Silver Anniversary L-82 4 speed Corvette. My recent purchase is a 1982 showroom condition, 12,000 mile Collectors Edition Corvette.
Thanks all. I'm waiting to bring my new toy home. Mother Nature hasn't exactly been helpful yet. The 1982 CE I have a spot for in the garage may be home in a week or so. I've wanted one of these for many years, and finally found the right one. The 12,200 mile car has almost every Bloomington award imaginable. The most important being the Benchmark certificate. I've owned many award winning cars over the years, but NEVER one looking like it is still in the showroom. I'll add some pictures as soon as it is safe and sound in it's new home.
