Thank you all for the welcome!  As background, I have owned 6 Corvettes.  Two C4's, Two C5's, one C6 and now my current C3.

My C3 takes me back to when I was teenager and I admired my uncle's C3's.  I bought my '72 back at the beginning of the year and I have had it with a restorer since then.  Prior to my ownership, the car had been used as a rally car.  With the exception of the paint, I am restoring the car back to original.  Out with the heavy duty torsion bars, out with the transmission sans kick-down solenoid, out with the Edlebrock high-rise Performer intake matched up to a Holley 8000C guzzler carburetor, etc.

The engine is complete.  Now I am waiting for the rebuilt wiper motor and at somepoint I will be tackleing the AC.  The interior is still work-in-progress.  I have Al Knoch carpeting installed and I am waiting on my rebuilt original Delco AM/FM.  I'll be following up that work with replacing the deluxe door panels and re-doing the leather seats.
