Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Hi Everyone, thanks for the warm Welcome !
Just a little info about me,My Name is Dave, I'm a Auto Tech of 35+ years, I bought this 81 Met. Silver 4 spd. C3 for my wife, it is an all original car basically,(have all original parts to return it back completely stock) I'm the 4th owner if you could call it that, 2 other owners owned it combined for 13 months, the others attempted to remove the paint and do body work, they found out how much work it was and bailed.
So I've got lots of sanding ahead of me.
Will Post pics as soon as I take some, she's pretty ugly at the moment, but I think a lot of us have been there before.......hahaha

I'll be around and hope to hear and possibly see some of you local NM people

Vette(s): 1981 matching numbers C3 135,000 original miles. Rebuilt drive-train, New radiator, water pump, thermostat, belts/hoses. New front wheel bearings,rotors,calipers,brakes. Both rear axles. rebuilt. All at 131,000 miles.
