Vette(s): 1972 Big Block (454), frame off restoration

I have a 72 vette, 4 speed with BB- 454. I purchased the car years ago with the intention of having a restored by a so called friend.  He took the money and left the car in parts. The owner of the garage was decent enough to get in touch with me so I was able to bring it home.

Since then I had been collecting cars and saving my money.  Picture of the vette (need to update) can be viewed at www.walkerr.net along with some of the cars that I still have.

Listed below identifies what has been done.

1. Frame has been sand blasted and powder coated.

2. New fuel lines, fuel tank and brake lines have been installed.

3. Cross-member bar installed with Polyurethane.

4. Completing the installation of the front suspension (Vette Brakes Products).

5. Just received the back suspension from VBP, yesterday (June 17).

6. Awaiting the arrival of my off-set trailing arms (expected delivery date June 19).

I look forward in getting advice from this forum in regards to questions that I may have while I start assembling this car back together.

That’s my story, oh yea this is my third vette.  I previously owned a 1978 and 1986.
