Thanks! A Corvette is the first car that I can remember ever wanting. Found
a red on red 81 in northwest Montana and convinced my wife not only that I
had to buy it but that we should drive it the 1900 miles home to Fort Worth,
Texas. Gotta love that little woman!

Your wife is a saint
Good thing you bought an 81 and not a 68, or you both would still be sore.
Welcome to the site where C3s are KING.

The 81 did a fantastic job. I couldn't have asked any more from it. I had it
checked out by a mechanic before making the trip and put some new BFG
tires on. We hit snow through almost all of Wyoming. Slow and steady
won
the day...

First thing we did when we got home to Texas was give her a bath!
