Its always nice to get some reviews from other forum members on products before you take a chance on them. So, I just wanted to give a recommendation for the Street and Slalom kit from VBP if anybody is thinking about getting it. I finished up yesterday after an alignment and the car feels unbelievable. The difference is night and day. I also replaced all the bushings with polyurethane so that helped too, since most of the rubber had worn away. Whenever I went over a bump the thing rattled so much, but now its so quiet and smooth even with the stiffer springs. I took it through some turns and it goes around them so much easier. The kit lowered the car 1.25" in the front and about an 1" in the back. If you want it lower in the back, you'll need to order the longer bolts than what is supplied. I may do that in the future, but as of now I like it the way it is. The hardest parts of the installation for me was taking off the rear shock mounts (badly frozen in), putting back in the trailing arms (tough to put bolt back in the first time, but when the second t-arm came around I was able to do in a couple of minutes), and removing the old ball joints (tapered fork did not want to do the job on one side). I thought the springs (coils and mono) would be the hardest part of the installation before installing but they actually ended up being very quick and easy. I had never tried anything quite like this so I was a little scared at first and thought it would take forever, but it proved to be a fairly easy installation. So if you're thinking of a project for this winter when you're keeping your baby in the garage, I recommend the suspension upgrade. You'll be very happy with the results.
