Made it home safely from the Wet Vettes at the Beach!!
Didn't have any delays until about 15 minutes from home and got stuck in traffic for 35 minutes....
Everything still wet so the washer is humming away already!
It was great fun and we really enjoyed seeing everyone!
Safe trips home for everyone else.....

Waffles with strawberries, scrapple & a "mess" was a good breakfast to drive home on. : )  Arrived home safely (sort of) around 6:30 PM...no brakes on the Road Whale, so Frank was surfing on the way home down Rt 8.  To add to our adventure, we inadvertantly "stole" fuel from the Hess station at Rt 8 & Rt 7 (making us a real life, modern day Bonnie & Clyde...LMAO)  Embarrassed   Sending them a check tomorrow.    We got 20 minutes down the road when it dawned on Frank that he never actually said anything to me about paying them while he was fueling....Needless to say I immediately pulled over & contacted them - not like our "get-away" vehicles were inconspicuous ... a 40' RV that says "ROAD WHALE" on the back being followed by a late model silver Corvette....LMAO   I think they had a good chance of finding us....
Missing everyone already - can't wait to see you all at Carlisle!!!!!  Barb n Frank

Sorry I missed you all!  Your probably starting to think I dont really exist!  I did make it to Sylvan Beach but you were all gone!  I did see Joe's Motion Clone there but no Joe!  ebo and I got our wires crossed on meeting Sunday night so I'm still drinking the two gallons of sangria I had brought!  I'll still be drinking it by the time I get to Carlisle.  Hope to meet you there, although my Vette is still iffy...lots of work to do!  Maybe in time for Wildwood, NJ, I know I saw Barb's car there last year!

We stayed until the wind really picked up and wanted to blow our canopy away....we were under it holding it down. The thought of it bouncing across the tops of vettes would have been a BAD thing.

Then once back at eboland we changed and dried everything/one off. We were so frazzled by then we never fired up a grill. We had our rained out lunch for dinner.
I so would have like that sangria!

We will try again next year......
