The folks at Bloomington Gold recently announced that for 2015, they were bringing the party to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
For a number of years, I've been wanting to create an event in Indy for C3VR members and wanted to have us take a trip around the 500 track, but wasn't sure how to arrange that. It sounds like as part of BG, folks will be able to do that. In addition to the track, there are a number of things around town I was hoping to show off.
So I'm wondering - BG is scheduled for Thu-Sat. If I were to create a set of events to span Monday-Wednesday, I'm wondering how many people are interested enough to come to Indy for a week to take part.
I'll be honest, next year may not be the best year given events going on for me, but if enough people are interested, I would enjoy showcasing some places around here.
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Just so you don't think I would ignore one of your posts...I'd love to come and impose on you two but my lovely daughter graduates that weekend and I'll probably be busy with the C3VR gathering final preps as, I'm sure, by that time Sarge will be phoning it in. You know how lazy he can be...ok not so much!

I'd love to take in the Speedway experience again. Timing will not work for me next year....I'll be on the Canadian border putting on a motorcycle rally that weekend.

Love to come down that way, but it's too close to the Gathering event. I won't allow Dave to go to Indy. I have to keep my trusty sidekick within arms length reach just incase something goes wrong. He's going under the bus.
