Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Was wondering how many members are planning on attending Bloomington Gold this year in my hometown of Champaign-Urbana, IL. I've wanted to attend for as long as I've had my 74 but never been able to make it. I will this year. It does appear there is a possibility of club parking if there are at least 5 cars. Anyone interested?
The dates are Friday June 27-29th

Marshall and Dick.........I'm planning on Bloomington Gold this year. Last year was the first time I missed in many years. (Due to C3VR Gathering.) Not sure what days, prolly Fri. and Sat.

Good point Dave. Sorry. I've updated the original post to show Friday June 27 through Sunday June 29th. There is also (I guess) a "preview" day on Thursday. Candi and I plan to get into town the weekend before and visit with friends through the week since I grew up there

Since C-U is my hometown, I will be staying in the house I grew up in (along with garage and wash station!). If folks are interested, I would love to host a cookout for a meal during the weekend. Additionally since I did grow up there, I know some of the great eating institutions (including a really good frozen custard place for someone!). I would also be happy to give a driving tour of town and or the University of Illinois campus

That all sounds very inviting. I have a local car show and races at Watkins Glen that same weekend. Tough decisions. I need to sleep on it.

Updating here to see if anyone else is interested. Got an e-mail today from Bloomington Gold about their Road Tour (http://www.bloomingtongold.com/index.php/events/gold-tour) promoted as the Guinness World Record holder for the longest tour of any single marque - 2223 Corvettes!
