Join me for a cookout immediately following the Bloomington Gold Road Tour on Saturday, June 26th. It will be at my home, located 8 blocks North of Route 64 on Route 25 (809 N. Fifth Avenue, St. Charles). There will be Ribeye steaks, brats, an assortment of salads, baked beans, corn on the cob, and beer!
I am figuring the cost of the food at $12.00/person, and I will have a donation can for the beer.
There is not enough time for you to send me money, so please just figure on paying at the cookout. Overflow parking will be available across the street from my place at 820 N. 5th Ave. Please sign up by e-mail (steveriebe@earthlink.net) or reply to this thread no later then June 24th so I have time to go shopping. I have quite a few chairs but you may want to bring one just in case!
Here is a link for a map to my place:

I'll let ya know by the 20th. My vette is still giving the fits during shake down. Most likely I can make it. I never been to bloomington gold yet. I am going to take her to get dynotuned by street stuff on tuesday. Hopefully they can work some magic on it and stop the back fire and bogging. This is my first modifyed engine and had the misfortune to try and do a 700r4 conversion at the same time. I am really working hard on this thing to be ready by the 20th. After all the mechanical issues are addressed, I still got all the body and cosmetics to be done. WheW!
Well Today have been rough for the poor car. The poor lady was thirsty big time. They were reading just shy of 200 hp and couldnt get it mutch higher than 4000 rpm. My fuel regualtor was the wrong kind and they say its under carbureted. They are going to try a 750 cfm edelbrock tomorrow and get the right fuel reg. They say my combo should pump out alot more hp and torque than these passes. I'll keep ya posted. They had my car on the dyno making a pass when guys from super chevy showed up! How cool is that to have my vette screaming and making all sorts of loud noises and only making 200 hp in front of super chevy!
LOL

Ben, I have never seen anyone hauling their car on a trailer during the road tour, but there are many of these "trailer queens" that go to the event just for judging and the awards. To each his own I guess, built mine to drive it (but certailnly not in the snow). Usually a pretty good bunch of people at the event!
