Alright you Mid Westerners put your thinking caps on. How many of you would attend a gathering sometime in Decemember if it was held in Dayton, Ohio?
I know of a few of us currently that are just now in the talking stages of putting something together. If we had a show of hands then we can begin to brainstorm out a date and a place.
Most likely for my wife and I this would be an overnite stay due to the drive but heck that would be fine.

Hi Thomas & Ken, Great Pumkin (Mike)& I have been talkin and tenatively we are looking at the weekends of the 8th or 15th to make the trip. Mind you both nothing formal yet.
I mentioned to Mike yesterday that I would like to set a date soon because I am going to stay overnight so that I can enjoy ther trip and the folks. I have been looking at something to do and have come up with these choices so far: Basketball / Hockey event. A Comedy club and the ever popular shopping....
I also thought if we stayed overnight that if anybody wanted to the could come and hang out in the hospitality room of the hotel too.
That's what I have instore as of yet. If anybody else has ideas they are most certainly welcome to share them.
Thomas since you live close to me if wanted we could make the trek together if that would work for you two.

As of right now these look to be a good dates. Carovan over would be nice.
During the NCM gathering there was a guy from Shelbyville (C5), forgot his name. I'm sure he would like to join in. Does any one remember his name?

My wife and I talked with him. He had a silver C6 and was a bike rider. I'll check with her to see if she got his name. I only got to chat with him Saturday at NCM. I am also gonna check with Butch & Jane Steinke 'Butchs Vettes to see if they want to go. They live in Dillsboro. We could catch them down around Cleves, Ohio in our trek.

Us too so lets plan on the 8th. Now lets get down to some business.I will add to this thread with some hotel information and activity options later on this weekend.

We could also just consider some shopping and a nice restraurant as well. Followed up by visiting in the hospitality room of our hotel. (With a few holiday fun games & snacks.)

A bit too far for me I'm afraid. If I had my private pilots license and access to a real off the ground flyin' machine it might be a different answer.
