This message is coming to you live from the " Hamildains". Hope all are well. Like most of you we are all sooooooooooo ready for Spring. In that regard, here is the hotel information for the Midwest Region Spring get-together in Kokomo, Indiana April 24, 25 and 26:
Courtyard at Marriott
411 Kentucky Drive
Kokomo, Indiana 46902
Telephone No. for reservations: 765-453-0800.
When you make your reservation, tell the agent that you are with the C3VR group. The rate is $69 per night, plus tax. The room rate includes the "eggs are it" buffet each morning which is an $8 value. I am advised this is a hot buffet with many selections and is advertised by locals to be very "yummy". Since this buffet comes highly recommended and is free with our room package, we have not planned any breakfast location other than the hotel. This will also assist in logistics.
The Courtyard at Marriott is a smoke-free hotel throughout its entire premises. There is an indoor swimming pool (bring your suits) and free high speed wireless internet is available. The hotel will provide a car washing area with hose and will allow us to have a "roped off" area for our Corvettes.
Note: Your hosts highly recommend you make arrangements to come into town on Thursday, April 23, 2009 if at all possible. We have a unique event scheduled for Friday morning (that was the only time we could arrange this activity) that I am sure both the guys and the ladies will enjoy.
The weekend itinerary will be posted in the next few hours for your reading enjoyment and for planning purposes. When you have made your travel arrangements, please post your arrival schedule on this thread. We also have dinner plans for 7:00 p.m Thursday, so we would appreciate knowing if you will join us for dinner.
We look forward to seeing previous attendees as well as meeting C3VR members who have not yet had the opportunity to attend a Midwest Region event. If you have not yet been to an event, come join us for the Spring get-together. I believe you will be glad you did.
If you have any questions or require additional information regarding any aspect of the Midwest Region Spring get-together you may post your request and we will get back to you or, if you require immediate assistance, call me at 314-623-1260.

Terry;
Glad you are coming and I hope you will arrange to be there Thursday night. I hope your car is ready, and I am anxious to see it. If it is not ready, come anyway
Still working on the date but I think I will camp with my tent and gear. This includes long underwear to prevent shrinkage.

Yep, I have it booked for Thursday night. I might not be there until late but I will be there.
My car is pretty much done, I was told the last thing he would like to do if it get warmer is spray the inside of the hood so it nothing dire. It it just going and getting it. Worse case scenario, I will pick it up on my way there. :)

Dennis, It will be warmer at the hotel!
By the way the breakfast is a full blown buffet, or if you prefer you can order from the menu.
