I am really blooking forward to this.  Last year Candi and I drove the road from Chicago to St. Louis with one major exception - The Chain Of Rocks Bridge over the Mississippi!  It is typically closed to vehicle traffic, but they open it occasionally for special events like this.  Not only that, but in general situations, it's not even advised to visit it on foot because of vandalism and break ins that have been reported by those who have visited.
