Seriously - the wife and I have this party every year, and since you're all my friends, we'd love to have you attend as well! 

 

The date: Saturday July 28th (no rain date - haven't needed one in the five years we've had it).  The time: 11:00am until we all crash - typically, this lasts until the wee hours of the am.

 

The place: the east side of Indianapolis.  I can get more specific directions to those interested.

 

Keep in mind that our group of friends is pretty varied.  We know singles, we know families with kids and we have lots of lesbian friends (and we have lesbian friends with kids).  I only say that because unfortunately, some people aren't open to that.  We love them all equally.  All are welcome here (we've even allowed people who own Fords to come!).

 

During the daylight, the kids have lots of fun, and at night, there has been some skinny dipping and naked hot tubbing known to occur (thankfully, the cops haven't shown up again since the first party!).

 

We have a loosely organized Euchre tournament, water volleyball and just lots of fun.

 

We will provide a keg of beer and food.  If people want to bring something, we don't ask them to, but we won't turn them down.  The last few years, the keg has floated earlier and earlier...

 

Parking is on the street, and unlike Warbird, there is no organized crusie afterwards.  My Vette will be in the garage, and it won't be getting driven that day.

 

If you want to make a weekend of it, there is a great crusie in just a mile or so from my house every Friday night, and plenty of stuff to do in Indianapolis.
