Hello C3VR Party Goers!
Here's some information on the next get-together that is now
being planned. It will be in Vevay, Indiana right on the banks of
the Ohio River. It was originally built by a Mr. Ogle and upon his
death it was left to the city of Vevay. It was purchased by Belterra Casino and completely renovated several years ago. Big
beautiful wood beams and timber inside. Also, has nice riverview
rooms looking at the river and the hills of Kentucky.
I am hoping that with a more southern location that we can attract members from Louisville and surrounding areas.
If this catches your interest please try and respond as soon as possible so that we can block rooms. This place only has 35 rooms left as of today because it is not a huge complex.

Okay Party Goers here's the latest information on the October Get-together
I have blocked 15 rooms at the Ogle Haus Inn/Best Western in Vevay, In
for the 7th,8th and 9th of October-leaving on the 10th. In order to make
these reservations you have to call the Best Western/Ogle Haus directly.
I am not sure as to the reasoning, but it might have something to do
with the fact that I got a $50 per night reduction on the room and they
don't want it to go through Best Western. The room rate will be $79 per
night for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. No increase for week-end stays
and this is for any room. I want all of you to be aware of the fact they
have nice river-view rooms and on the first floor they walk out onto a
concrete patio. There are only two floors to the complex. The phone #
is: 812-427-2020 and the rooms are blocked as: C3VR/Butch.
The Ogle Haus offers: 100 percent non-smoking rooms,riverview patio/
deck, complimentary cable,HBO and hot breakfast, heated outdoor pool,
in-room Microwave & refrigerator, King & Queen size beds, Master suites
with jetted tubs, Stein Room Lounge, complimentary wireless Internet.
As time goes on my partner in crime (Tux) will be researching restaurants
and road tours. Hoping you'll get your rooms booked early for a great
turnout and don't forget that you have to call Ogle Haus direct @ 812-
427-2020.
P.S. Mr Hamilton the hotel has informed me that will not allow any 5th
wheel trailers in the parking lot, so I guess you and your bride will
just have to arrive in your C5.
