Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

See my new Post on the Photo Collection for the gathering...

I had a really busy week after getting home, but I'm surprised I haven't seen any lessons learned, etc from the gathering...
1. Full research is needed before visiting places found on-line. The Wisconsin attraction noted on the map as "Bong Recreation Area" was not at all what I thought it would be. Apparently some nature reserve... Boring!
2 Things that sound dirty, but aren't neccessarily:
a. I was behind you and your rear end looks great!
b. Would you sign my stick?
3. Getting the screen back in the hotel window after taking it out to take a picture of the cars in the parking lot is much more difficult than getting it out.
4. Attempts to take pictures of the cars in front or behind you in a Caravan will often result in great shots of your Sun Visors
5. Last, but not least - those jerks at GM killed the project for the car I knew I always wanted, but never knew they almost made - The 90's ZR-1 Convertible!!
Speaking to Al and hearing those stories was incredible. He made the offer for us to "Come back anytime." I think we need to make sure that in 2 or 3 years, we take him up on it.
Thanks everyone who was a part of this event. I know I had a great time and can't wait to see all of you again!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
