Sorry it took so long to get to this post, but it's been a crazy week. A special THANKS to Terry & Patty for all their hard work
in putting on one G R E A T party!! Also, a big Thank You to Dean and Colleen for all the great prizes and especially the BIG BEANS, I am hording the last few. Also, a Thanks to Tux's employer ACRO for supplying the neat hats and tee shirts. We sure had a good time meeting new Vette lovers and seeing the "oldies, but goodies". It's a shame it didn't work out Sunday to go to Sagutuck-we went by ourselves and it was absolutely beautiful. I can't imagine the money people had in some of the boats. After that, we walked around town checking out all the little specialty shops. Butch spotted a store that had beautiful hand-carved mahogany airplanes with a super-fine urethane finish. Upon further investigation in the back of the store he saw a row of old Corvettes and other muscle cars from the 60's. A 62
and '63 split window, Camaro's and others were on display. Needless to say I didn't walk out of the store empty-handed! After that we drove around the lake to the other side and on to Oval Beach (rated one of the 25 best shorelines in the world. The weather was perfect and the scenery gorgeous! It was a perfect end to a perfect week-end. Hope to do it again soon and a special Thanks to Dennis for providing the necessay equipment for Seniors to have safe sex. That's all folks, B&J
