Last spring in Kokomo we talked a little about coming to southern Michigan for our spring gathering. Patty and I have been kicking it around and here's what we came up with so far. There's a little town on the Lake Michigan coast called Saugatuck. Its a very artsy town with lots of restaurants and shops. Also has a couple of beautiful beaches for picnic, etc. If interested we could also take a cruise to a really cool car museum, Gilmore not too far away. It would be nice to have it in late spring say May where we have a better chance of warm weather. I used Indianapolis as a distance reference and its only 216 mi.

So let me know what ya'll think. Interest, ideas, etc. Thanks, Terry & Patty

Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.
Dskopp- you could take the boat across if it's still running.   I would be interested in taking the tribe sans the vette.  Make sure to wear pink pants and shirtsWinkWink. It's very happy out there.

Super cool views and nice places to go out there.

Corvettes and women are the same...You want to make love to them but they keep breaking down.

T - sounds interesting.  Never spent much time in MI other than Grand Rapids for work.

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

I live near and work in Grand Rapids Marshall. But you ain't seen Michigan til you have seen the beaches. When and if get enough response I will post a poll to see what ya'll think about the date. Plenty of time to plan. "T"
