Anybody here make it to the Woodward Dream Cruise? I was there all day Saturday, but like a dummy, I forgot my camera
What great time it was.

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
I was there most of the day Saturday, and for quite a few hours on Thursday. I'm pretty sure I've decided I like walking the sidewalks better than the gridlock you get in the cruise. 3 hours to go 3 miles is just too much for me. Although I have to say the Vette performed beautifully. Never got too hot, and sounded just as good as the rest of the rods on Woodward. Of course, I wouldn't bet what might have happened had the temps been in the nineties like in the past!
Anyway, the wife and I had a great time. Hope all you others who made it did too!

I hit the Pontiac loop to 15mile and took the Wife to Chubby Checkers concert Sat night. Great time with all the cars. Lots of burnouts around Pontiac loop.

I cruised in at Bo's Brewery in Pontiac and cruised from there to Bridgeport for a local car show. Finished off the weekend by attending a .38 Special and Lynyrd Skynyrd Concert at DTE Music Theater (Pine Knob). What a kick-ass show!
