We had dinner in that space at the first C3 Xtravaganza in the fall of 2004 (2005 too? I missed that year).
I read in one of the write-ups that the sink-hole was a result of poor rain water runoff management around the building. I don't know - looking at the size of that cavity I personally find that a little hard to believe. Seems like there had to be some lower level activity going on as well.
But here's hoping that the rebuild schedule is accurate and it will be all back together in time for the celebration in August.
