History Channel Makes a Visit
We were excited to welcome the History Channel this past Tuesday for a special visit to the Corvette Plant and Museum to shoot an upcoming segment for “Hands on History”. The show will air in late fall. You can check out the History Channel’s show schedule by visiting their website at: http://www.historychannel.com

Four Weeks Left On “Last” C5 Coupe Raffle
In only 4 weeks, the winner of the “Last” C5 Coupe will be drawn. This unique and truly “one-of-a-kind” Corvette is the very last of the 5th generation Corvettes. Tickets are available at $25 each. The drawing will take place on Sunday, September 5 at 12:00 p.m. CT. as part of the 10th Anniversary event’s grand finale festivities. Winner need not be present to win. Word on the street is that there are car collector’s who will be interested in purchasing this vehicle. C3 Owners and enthusiasts will gather for a “first-ever” C3 Extravaganza October 14-16, 2004. Open to all car enthusiasts, the event will feature drag racing and autocross, a BBQ at the 1869 Homestead, a “people’s choice” car show, seminars, a banquet and auction in the Museum’s Skydome and much more. Preregistered guests will receive a personalized commemorative event badge and dash plaque. 10th Anniversary Celebration Update
Preregistration for the 10th Anniversary Corvette Celebration ends Wednesday, August 18 at 5:00 p.m. CT. Several of the scenic road tours have a limited number of open slots as well as the exciting “Andy Pilgrim Golf Classic”. Approximately 15 slots are still open for the golf tournament, and Andy will be bringing some very special gifts to award during the tournament.
