Limited Spaces for C5/C6 Bash Road Tours
Several of the road tour excursions planned as part of the upcoming C5/C6 Bash are filling up quickly and only a limited amount of slots are available. Over 250 people have already registered for this year’s bash and we hope you are planning to join us. Trips to Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center in Bardstown, Shaker Village at South Union and a bus tour for a day of crafts/site seeing with Karen Hill in Shelbyville that includes lunch at the historic home of Claudia Sanders are all planned as part of the off-site day trips. When registering for the C5/C6 Bash, you will want to get your raffle tickets for the two raffle drawings taking place as part of this year’s bash! A Machine Silver Coupe will be given away on Friday, April 22 at 1:00 p.m. Only 500 tickets will be sold. On Saturday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the event’s Banquet and Auction, we will draw the winner of the Daytona Sunset Orange Convertible limited to only 2,005 tickets to be sold. Winners need not be present at the event to win. Tickets can be purchased online at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/raffle/index.shtml
Corvette Named Car of the Year Finalist
Forty-eight automotive journalists from the U.S. and Canada have named the 2005 Corvette as one of the finalists of the North American Car of the Year. The announcement was made in Detroit last week and the winners will be announced on January 9 at the North American International Auto Show. The other finalists in the Car of the Year category were the Chrysler 300/300C and the Ford Mustang.
C6 Corvette Leather Jackets in Three Styles
Leather jackets featuring the C6 logo in three new styles are available in the Corvette Store. Choose from a C6 V-Power leather jacket made from the highest quality lambskin designed with the C6 Corvette emblem and red and white stripe leather inlays. A C6 logo emblem inlay bomber and C6 logo embossed design are also part of the new styles in leather jackets recently added.
