Commemorative Brick to Be Placed In Memory of John Lingenfelter
In memory of John Lingenfelter and at the request of Corvette friends, a large brick will be placed in our brick walkway to commemorate his love and support of Corvette. John Lingenfelter, founder of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, passed away December 25th, 2003. John had been in a semi-comatose state since November 2002 when he entered into a coma during surgery that was necessary due to a racing accident in Pomona, California in October 2002. He was owner and operator of Lingenfelter Performance Engineering in Decatur, Indiana for the past 30 years and competed in Sport Compact Drag Racing with NHRA. If you are interested in making a donation to the John Lingenfelter memorial brick, contact our membership department at: becky@corvettemuseum.com or call (800) 53-VETTE.
