C5/C6 Bash – Pre-registration for the C5/C6 Bash ends April 6, but spaces for many of the limited participant activities are filling fast. The road tour/lunch excursions to Heaven Hill and Shaker Village are completely filled. The Shelbyville bus tour outing with Karen Hill has only 25 slots available. This bus tour includes antique and craft browsing along with lunch at the historic Claudia Sanders House. Information on the Shelbyville bus tour outing is available via our website at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/registration/c5_bash/agenda.shtml

ZR-1/C4 Gathering – ZR-1/C4 Gathering event participants will have the opportunity to “dyno” their Corvette on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The dyno pulls will be facilitated by Back Street Performance. If you have already pre-registered for the Gathering and would like to add this activity to your event profile, please contact Adam Boca – NCM Events Department at: adam@corvettemuseum.com

If you would like to register for either of these events or the Corvette Forum Cruise-In register online at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com

Changes to Corvette Assembly Plant Tours

As of February 1, 2005, the Corvette Assembly Plant will begin charging a $5 fee per person to tour the plant. An online reservation system is now open, and you can purchase your tickets in advance. The tour fee was implemented to help offset some of the costs of the tour and to upgrade the tour process.

The changes to the tour also include access into the XLR assembly area and mementos to be given out at the end of the tour to commemorate the tour experience. Employees, retirees, active military and school group children - fourth through eighth grade will continue to be permitted to tour the plant at no cost.

For additional information and specifics visit the Corvette Assembly Plant website at: http://www.bowlinggreenassemblyplant.com/tour_information.html
