Some exclusions apply to special order merchandise. 15Th Anniversary Caravan Planning Begins Past caravan co-chair Kathie Lin Summers has been named Chair of the 15 th Anniversary Caravan and has formed a national committee to begin the process. Building on the success of the past caravans - 1994, 1999 and 2003, Kathie and her committee will be assembling a team of captains from across the U.S. Anyone interested in becoming involved in the Caravan planning, either on the regional, state or local level, should send an email to caravan@corvettemuseum.com to become involved. Over 250 people are pre-registered for the event which officially kicks off on Thursday with a scenic road tour and lunch, gimmick NCM tour and seminars. Gordon Killebrew will be on hand with his trouble shooting knowledge and participants can spend the day touring the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant, and can have their Corvette tested on the “dyno” provided by Back Street Performance. Corvette Marketing turned to the Museum to arrange for the 90 Corvettes, and NCM members and supporters Jim & Sharon Love stepped up to the plate to help with the arrangements and the gathering of the 90 Corvettes. With only a short amount of time to meet the request, Sharon & Jim turned to the clubs in the Indianapolis area to get the word out. Participants were taken on a first come basis and the 90 slots and 5 standby positions were filled in a matter of a couple of days. Filling the Flint Brick Wall A limited number of spaces are available on this special wall created inside the Museum to display support of our Building Campaign efforts. These historic bricks are remnants from the Corvette Assembly Plant building where the 1953 Corvettes were built. You can have your name, business or Corvette Club name engraved on a signature plate and attached as a permanent fixture incorporated into the Flint brick wall of the St. Louis Corvette Assembly Plant display of the Museum for a lasting way to recognize your support.
