Museum to Host Dale Earnhardt Documentary Showing
We are excited to be featured as one of many venues hosting a premier of the highly anticipated documentary – “Dale” coming to theaters across the U.S. in the coming weeks.
May 22 & 23 a limited number of viewers will be able to enjoy the film in our Chevrolet Theater and will be able to see the #3 car and four production vehicles along with a collection of Earnhardt memorabilia. Tickets are not available through the Museum, and can only be obtained through regional Chevy dealers. The documentary is narrated by Paul Newman, and is a 100-minute film providing the most accurate presentation of Earnhardt's career and life. This moving tribute is told through archival race footage, never-before-seen family home videos and interviews with Earnhardt himself. His fiercest competitors and most avid fans share memories of him on the track, and his family and closest friends give insight to the man behind The Intimidator persona. The film "Dale" illustrates the depth of Earnhardt's influence in the racing world and beyond. Produced with the support and endorsement of the Earnhardt family and Richard Childress Racing, it's a must-see for every fan. A limited number of tickets will be available through Chevrolet Dealers across the U.S. and you can obtain additional information and tickets by visiting the official “Dale” movie site at: http://www.cmt.com/movies/dale

March Bursts With Buyers Tour Participants
We had the opportunity to welcome 25 participants of the Corvette “Buyers Tour” program in March and have seven already scheduled for April. The “Buyers Tour” is a unique program offered in conjunction with the Corvette Assembly Plant that provides new Corvette buyers with a VIP Tour of the Assembly Plant and the opportunity to see and experience the assembly of America’s Sports Car with a private tour guide.
Hopefully as part of the tour, guests will have a chance to see their new Corvette being manufactured. You and up to three guests can enjoy a personal VIP tour of the Plant to see many areas not included on the general Plant tour. We try and make every effort to schedule the tour on the day that your new Corvette is being built, however we cannot guarantee the procedure due to production processes and unforeseen events that may increase or decrease production time and scheduling. If you plan to purchase a new Corvette, we invite you to find out more about the Corvette “Buyers Tour” Program. Gavin and Beretta Win GT1 at St. Petersburg ALMS Race
Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta sailed to their second consecutive GT1 class victory of the season on the waterfront street circuit in St. Petersburg, Fla. The two Ollies had a smooth run to the American Le Mans Series winner's circle in their No. 4 Compuware Corvette C6.R after a driveline problem sidelined the No. 3 Compuware Corvette C6.R of Johnny O'Connell and Jan Magnussen.
The two Corvettes were within a second of each other until the first caution period began at 46 minutes into the race. The pole-winning No. 4 Corvette had a slight advantage when O'Connell's car suddenly slowed on the course just as Beretta made his first pit stop for fuel, four Michelin tires, and a driver change. For the complete release visit: www.corvetteracing.com Corvette Racing's next event is the second of three consecutive street races, the Grand Prix of Long Beach on Saturday, April 14. The 1-hour, 40-minute race on a 1.968-mile temporary street circuit will begin at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. local time), and will be televised in a same-day broadcast on the SPEED Channel from 8 to 10:30 p.m. ET.
